Julie graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Communication with an emphasis in public relation and integrated marketing communications. She had a dream of being a sports news anchor, but after her first job out of undergrad at a 99-bed hospital she knew she found a passion for health communication. Her work experience is primarily in marketing not-for-profit hospitals. Julie has served in hospital foundation and marketing roles, overseeing large fundraising galas, writing highly-technical materials regarding cancer treatment and technology, department grand openings, as well as physician-led community health seminar series. In August 2013 she received her M.S. in Health Communication from Boston University. She is currently the Marketing Director at Shepherd Eye Center in Las Vegas, NV. Payal has more than nine years of creative design and project management experience in agency, corporate and non-profit environments in Chicago where she is currently the System Manager of Marketing for Sinai Health System.
